"Jesus never said 'Please'?"
God imagined, designed and created free will,
yet I see no record of Jesus every asking 'Please'.
Wow. Have you ever thought about this?
So does Jesus just give commands?
Even for the big stuff?
Hmm.
Let's look at the life of Peter one of the several that Jesus called at the beginning.
Peter apparently had a wife at the time, for Peter had a mother-in-law.
But when Jesus called Peter into the ministry, I don't remember Jesus saying,
"Peter, go home and ask your wife if you can tag along with me."
And when Jesus told Peter how Peter was going to die, I don't recall Jesus giving
Peter the option. This was part of Peter's price for eternal life.
To not go along with this would have been spiritual rebellion against God.
